Biman Bangladesh Airlines has won the prestigious Foreign Airline of the year 2015 award from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) authorities, said a Biman press release on Wednesday.
The award is given by the KLIA management; Malaysia based on the highest numbers of passengers carried between Kuala Lumpur and Southeast Asian regions, said Shakil Meraj, general manager (PR) of Biman.
Biman Country Manager for Malaysia Mohammed Salahuddin received the award recently from YB Dato’ Seri Liow Tiong Lai, minister of transport, Malaysia, at a grand award ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur.
KLIA is one of the busiest airports in the world. It handled 49m passengers and over 3,54,000 in 2015.
