Ministry of Primary and Mass Education, Rupali Bank Ltd and Teletalk signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently in the city for the disbursement of primary stipend through mobile banking, said a press release.
Under this MoU, government will use Rupali Bank SureCash mobile banking service to disburse stipends to mothers all over the country and Teletalk will provide free mobile phone SIMs to the mothers.
Ministry of Primary and Mass Education (MoPME) Minister Advocate Mostafizur Rahman Fizar, M.P attended the ceremony as chief guest and State Minister for posts, telecommunication and Information, Tarana Halim M.P was the special guest. The MoU was signed by Secretary of MoPME Mohammad Humayun Khalid, Acting Managing Director of Rupali Bank Debasish Chakrabarty and Managing Director of Teletalk Gias Uddin Ahmed. The program was also attended by ADG of Directorate of Primary Education and additional Secretary Dr. Md. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Chief Executive Officer of SureCash Dr. Shahadat Khan and high officials from the related organizations.
