BFF announces 33-member preliminary squad for AFC Cup
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Saturday announced a 33-member preliminary squad of the Bangladesh National Team to play in the AFC Cup Play-Off-2 against Bhutan.
The training camp of the squad will begin on Sunday. After conducting training for nine days the camp will be reduced to 23 players which will fly for Maldives on August 30 to play a warm-up match there on September 1.
The team will return to Dhaka on September 2 to take the final preparation for the home match against Bhutan on September 6.
Members of Bangladesh preliminary squad are: Goalkeepers: Shahidul Alam Sohel, Ashraful Islam Rana, Maksudur Rahman Mostak and Mohammad Nehal.
Defenders: Tapu Barman, Mamun Miah, Ariful Islam, Wali Faisal, Rayhan Hasan, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury, Rezaul Karim, Atiqur Rahman Meshu, Monsur Amin.
Midfielder: Pranotosh Kumar, Emon Mahmud Babu, Mamunul Islam, Sohel Rana, Jamal Bhuiyan, Mohammad Abdullah, Mohammad Sohel Rana, Sentu Chandra Sen, Anamul Haque Sharif.
Forwards: Jewel Rana, Nabib Newoaz Jibon, Rubel Miah, Romman Hossain, Shakhwat Hossain Rony, Jafar Iqbal, Aminur Rahman Sazib, Mehedi Hasan Tapu, Didarul Alam, Mahbub Hasan Noyon.
