A truck has rammed into an auto-rickshaw in Comilla’s Muradnagar, killing five people, including a couple. The two vehicles collided at Payob on Muradnagar-Eliotganj Road on Saturday morning, police said. The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Md Rubel, 35, his brother Md Sohel, 32, Sohag Mia, 40, his wife Nasima Begum, 35, and ‘Himel’, 12. Mizanur Rahman, OC of Muradnagar Police Station, said Sohel died on the spot while the four others succumbed to their injuries at hospital later in the afternoon. The bodies were handed over to their families, he added.
