Truck, auto-rickshaw collision kills 8 in M`singh

At least eight people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw at Gachhtola Bazaar under the district`s sadar upazila on Thursday. Of the deceased, three women, one child and five are male. However, they could not be identified immediately. Quamrul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kotwali Model Police Station, said the Netrokona-bound truck hit the opposite head Mymensingh-bound auto-rickshaw, leaving eight people dead on the spot.
