At least 10 people, including two women, were killed and more than 40 others injured in a head-on collision between two buses at Teromile on the Rangpur-Dinajpur highway in Taraganj upazila on Wednesday morning. Identities of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately. Officer-in-charge of Taraganj Police Station Abdul Latif said the accident took place when a Comilla-bound bus collided head-on with a local bus at Teromile around 11:20am, leaving at least six people dead on the spot and more than 40 others injured. The injured were whisked off to Rangpur Medical College Hospital and several other hospitals and clinics, the OC added.
