For the first time, a total of nine young Bangladeshi entrepreneurs have made it to the prestigious business magazine Forbes, the ’30 Under 30 Asia 2021′ list under three categories – Enterprise Technology, Retail & E-Commerce and Social Impact.
Forbes announced its sixth annual “30 Under 30 Asia” list on Monday (19 April), featuring 300 young entrepreneurs, leaders and trailblazers across Asia, all under the age of 30, who are braving the challenging environment brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and finding new opportunities amidst the new normal.
The Bangladeshis who made this year’s list are- Gaze cofounders Shehzad Noor Taus Priyo, 24, and Motasim Bir Rahman, 26, Cramstack founder Mir Sakib, 28, Awareness 360 cofounders Shomy Chowdhury, 26, and Rijve Arefin, 26, Obhizatrik Foundation founder Ahmed Imtiaz Jami, 27, Hydroquo+ cofounder Rizvana Hredita, 28, and Md Zahin Rohan Razeen, 22, Pickaboo cofounder Morin Talukder, 27.
From 2016 till 2020, a total of nine Bangladeshis got themselves listed for their outstanding work. This year alone nine Bangladeshis under the age of thirty got listed for their work in three sectors.
