The admission test for the first year Bachelor (Honors) program for the 2023-24 academic year at nine public agricultural universities, including Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU), is scheduled to take place on October 25 (Friday).
The test will commence simultaneously at 11 AM within the campuses of these universities. In addition to these nine agricultural universities, the exam will also be held at various centers of the University of Dhaka and Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET).
A total of 75,017 candidates are expected to participate in this year’s admission test, with 7,000 of them taking the exam at BSMRAU.
The nine participating universities collectively offer 3,718 seats, while BSMRAU has 435 seats available across its six faculties.
Professor Dr. G.K.M. Mustafizur Rahman, Senior Professor responsible for administrative and financial affairs at BSMRAU, stated that, as in previous years, all necessary measures have been taken to ensure a fair testing environment for the candidates.
The BSMRAU administration is committed to ensuring that the examinees face no difficulties, and all faculty and staff members are on alert to provide support.
It is noteworthy that the overall supervision of this year’s cluster admission test is being managed by Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University.
