81 judges reassigned in major judicial reshuffle

A major reshuffle has been taken place in the judiciary of the country as the government transferred 81 judicial officials of different ranks.

As per the advice from the Supreme Court on Thursday, the transfer was made through four separate gazette notifications.

Deputy Secretary (admin-1) Mohammad Osman Haider signed the notifications asked all the transferred judges except one to join their new workplaces by handing over their charges to concerned officials on September 3.

Among the transferred judges, Feni Women and Children Repression
Prevention Tribunal Judge Mohammad Asaduzzaman Khan, who has been transferred to Chattogram as District and Sessions Judge has been asked to join his new workplace after handing over his charge on September 1, the notification said.
