7th round of BCL football begins today

The seventh round of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL), the country’s second-tier professional football competition, begins today after the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday with three matches scheduled at different venues in the capital and its adjoining areas.
On the day, Arambagh Krira Sangha take on PWD Sports Club at Bashundhara Kings arena practice ground in the capital and Little Friends Club meet Uttar Baridhara Club at Fortis ground while Dhaka Rangers Football Club face BFF Elite Football Academy at Shaheed Batkat Stadium in Gazipur.
All the matches will kick off at 2.45 pm.
The remaining seventh-round matches will be held on Monday. City Club will meet Wari Club at the Bashundhara Kings Arena practice ground, while BRTC Sports Club face old Dhaka outfit Farashganj Sporting Club at the Fortis Ground.
After the sixth round, Arambagh Krira Sangha currently dominate the league with 18 points while PWD following the leaders with 13 points.
Little Friends Club stands seventh position in the league table with five points while Uttra Baridhara Club remained bottom of the table with two points.
BFF Elite Football Academy stands third position in the league table with 11 points while Dhaka Rangers Club place fifth position in the league table with eight points.
City Club stands fourth position in the league table with nine points while Wari Club place ninth position in the table with four points.
BRTC Sports Club stands seventh position in the league table with six points while Farashganj Sporting Club place eighth position in the table with five points.
