Aloha Bangladesh organized the 17th National Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition 2025 and Aloha 3rd Convocation on February 14 and 15, 2025 at Bashundhara International Convention City (ICCB) in the capital.
In this two-day competition, more than 3900 students from 600 schools across the country participated, who were involved in this course in various branches of Aloha Bangladesh, and 550 Aloha graduates received honors.
Aloha Bangladesh has been organizing this competition in Bangladesh since 2008. The objective of this competition was to test the speed and accuracy of the children. Within 5 minutes duration of time, the participants have been asked to solve 70 complex sums and majority of the students solved 70 complex problems with 100 % accuracy within the due time. First day the program was started by the National anthem of Bangladesh. Mr. Loh Mun Sung, Founder of Aloha Mental Arithmetic inaugurated this event as a chief guest. Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, Managing Director of ALOHA Bangladesh giving welcome speech at the ceremony, while Mr. Saiful Karim, Chairman of ALOHA Bangladesh lead the program as session chairman and Mr. Shamsuddin Tipu, Director, Aloha Bangladesh was also present as this moment.
Managing Director of Aloha Bangladesh in the welcome speech said, ‘Aloha Bangladesh has been working on brain development for the last 18 years. As children develop cognitive knowledge up to 15 years, more extracurricular activities are very important for them. Founder of Aloha Mental Arithmetic Mr. Loh Moon Sang said, ‘We want the creative development of the intelligence of students all over the world.
We are working towards that goal. The participation of so many boys and girls of Bangladesh every year amazes and inspires me. We want these talented faces to participate in the development of the country in the future. After speech, the guests were presented with mementos.
After that Aloha G-land students were then given a performance, presentation, and received certificates. At the end, the results are announced, and the prizes are distributed. In the afternoon second session, the 3rd convocation of Aloha Bangladesh was held. In this episode, Grok learning presentation, giving certificates to teachers, and about 550 Aloha graduates received awards. Meanwhile, the selected winners are going to participate in Aloha International Competition 2025 at Cambodia.
