6 held with 26 gold bars

Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) in a drive detained six men with 26 gold bars from Nasirabad Forest Gate area under city’s Panchliash thana yesterday.
The identities of the detainees could not be known immediately.
Based on secret information a team of the Panchliash Police recovered the gold bars after searching a private car and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw, said Poritush Goash, Deputy Commissioner (North) of CMP.
The police team also nabbed six people in this connection at about 3.30 pm, he added.
Police also detained the vehicles.
