The members of Costguard rescued 57 people from Kacubaniy area Sabaram unoin under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Friday 5.30 Pm.
The 57 men were trying trafficked them to Malaysia.
Lt. Rafiqul Awal, Station Commander, Coastguard, Teknaf acknowledge this information and said that the detainee are from Rangpur, Dinaspur, Jessore, Sylhet, Bogra districts. All the detainees were handed over Teknaf police station. But trafficker has not been identified.
