The 56th Border Conference at the Director General level between the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and the Border Security Force (BSF) concluded on Thursday in Dhaka, marking the successful completion of a four-day meeting held from August 25 to August 28. The Bangladesh delegation was led by BGB Director General Major General Mohammad Ashrafuluz Zaman Siddique and comprised 21 members, says a press release.
Alongside senior BGB officials, the team included representatives from the office of the Honourable Adviser, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Shipping, the Roads Division, the Department of Land Survey, the Joint River Commission, and the Department of Narcotics Control. The Indian side was headed by BSF Director General Shri Daljit Singh Chowdhury, IPS, and included an 11-member delegation.
