Conspectus: 54th martyrdom anniv of Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad

The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Friday observed the 54th martyrdom anniversary of the then EPR Lance Naik Shaheed Bir Shrestha Noor Mohammad Sheikh, recalling with due dignity his glorious contribution during the Great Liberation War of 1971.

Major Noor Uddin Ahmad, Deputy Commander of BGB’s Jashore Battalion (49 BGB), placed a wreath at the grave of Bir Shrestha Shaheed Lance Naik Noor Mohammad Sheikh at Kashipur, Sharsha Upazila in Jashore district.
At this time, a well-equipped team of BGB provided a ‘Guard of Honor’, reports BSS.

Later, special prayers were offered for the eternal peace of the departed soul of Bir Shrestha Shaheed Noor Mohammad Sheikh.
