50-bed specialised hospital at upazila level

The newly established specialised medical hospital under the banner of BCCUL General Hospital will launch its medicare activities at Raozan in Chattogram from Friday (today). The Buddhist Cooperative Credit Union Ltd of Raozan is the investor of the hospital.
Chattogram City Mayor Dr.Shahdat Hussain will formally inaugurate the hospital activities from today as chief guest. This was disclosed at a press conference arranged at Hospital conference Hall with Mr.Tadanta Rakkit Bikku in the chair yesterday. Managing Director of the Hospital Dr.Kallol Barua replied to the questions of the media persons .
The hospital situated at Mokbul Tower in Raozan Pahartali beside Chattogram-Kaptai highway. The press meet was told that there are 50 beds including 10 cabins including 15 beds for male and 15 beds for female patients and 10 children beds . Other services in the unit are all diagnostic services , Gyne ward, Children ward, Diabetics, Dylasis, Phisiotheraphy, orthopadics, opthalmology, Ent, Medicine & neuromedicine and emergency services , sources said.
After inauguration of the hospital, the residents of Raozan, Hathazari , Rangunia, Kaptai, Bandarban will get better healthcare services specifically for Kidney patients, press meet was told.
