A total of five cabinet members of the ruling government have taken oath as ministers on Tuesday. President Abdul Hamid has administered the oath-taking ceremony of the new ministers at 6:30pm at the Darbar Hall of the Bangabhaban. Junior Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and State Minister for Science and Technology Yafes Osman were sworn in as full ministers of the cabinet while a total of three new faces in the cabinet– Tarana Halim, Nurul Islam BSC and Md Nuruzzaman – were also sworn in as ministers at that time. Meanwhile, the government`s Transport Pool has sent five cars to the Secretariat in keeping with the Cabinet Division’s requirement for new ministers.
