Five Bangladeshi boys have returned home from India after serving three years’ jail term for illegal stay in that country after intrusion.
The Indian authorities handed over the teenagers to the Bangladesh authorities at Benapole check post on Wednesday night.
The returnees were identified as Shamim Reza,16, son of Rezaul Karim, a resident of Chiledanga village in Ashashuni upazila, Bishwajit Haldar,15, son of Probhas Haldar, a resident of Ojailmari village in Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district, Ananta Kumar,17, son of Nitai Das, Dilip Das,16, son of Saodagor Das and Shital Das,14, son of Joypal Das, residents of Madaripur village in Neyamatpur upazila of Naogaon district.
