BSS, Mymensingh :
A total of 46 bridges and culverts at a cost of Taka over nine crore were constructed in different upazilas of the district in the last fiscal year.
District Relief and Rehabilitation Office sources said that the bridges and culverts were constructed with a view to develop rural communication network and helping people of remote areas easy carrying of their agri produces to different upazila sadar and different parts of country.
Of the total bridges and culverts, 3 were constructed in Haluaghat, 3 in Phulpur, 2 in Gouripur, 3 in Mymensingh Sadar, 3 in Muktagacha, 5 in Fulbaria, 8 in Trishal, 4 in Ishwarganj, 3 in Nandail, 7 in Gaforgaon, 3 in Bhaluka and 2 in Dobaura upazila.
