4 to die for killing CNG driver

A tribunal in Kishoreganj has sentence 4 men to death for killing a CNG-run auto rickshaw driver
Senior District & Sessions Judge of Kishoreganj, Jannatul Ferdous Ibn Haque announced the verdict on Wednesday afternoon. Those who have been convicted are Liton Miah, Rabbani, Md. Jowel and kajol. The tribunal also fined convicts with Tk. 2 lakh each.
According to the Case Diary (CD), On September 22, 2020, the accused hired the CNG-run auto rickshaw of Sohel alias Badr Khandkar from Durjoy Mor area of Bhairab Upazila. Around 9 o’clock that night at Kalikaprasad area of Bhairab-Kishoreganj road, they killed CNG driver Sohail and fled with the auto rickshaw.
The police recovered Sohail’s body from Kalikaprasad area the next morning. In this incident, on September 25, his father Abdul Hannan Khandkar filed a murder case against the unknown accused at Bhairab Model Police Station as the plaintiff.
Later on November 22, 2021, the PBI inspector Jamil Hossain submitted a charge sheet against the accused in the court.
Public Procecutor (PP) of Kishoreganj Judge Court Abu Naser Farooq Sanju Advocate confirmed this judgment.
