The Pure Food Court also Summary Trail has fined four food manufacturing establishments a total of Tk 500,000 for various irregularities in separate raids in Kishoreganj on Saturday.
During the day-long operation , Senior Judicial Magistrate , and 1st.class Magistrate of Pure Food Court, Ariful Islam conducted the court proceedings and imposed fines.
The penalized establishments are Tasin Food in Kishoreganj ‘s Jashodal Bazar was fined tk. 2 lakh, Chand Food Products in Gachihata Bazar of Katiadi, fined tk. 1 lakh, Sonar Medina Food Products in Pakundia fined tk. 1 lakh and Hozaifa Bakery in Dbariakandi Bus Stand in Kuliarchar fined tk. 1 lakh for preparing food in an unhygienic environment and using harmful colors, and unauthorized colors were seized and destroyed in public.
