The 38th National Red Snooker Championship was concluded at the Uttara Club Limited in the capital on Sunday.
In the final match, member of Cumilla City Club Muntasir Juberi became the champion defeating Ziaur Rahman of Banani Club in the hard-fought final.
A total of 206 billiard and snooker player took part in the gala extravaganza.
After the final match, the prize-giving ceremony was held.
President of Uttara Club Limited Mohammad Faisal Taher, President of Bangladesh Billiard and Snooker Federation (BBSF) Brigadier General (Retd) Sarker Mohammad Shamsuddin, Vice-President of BBSF Tazbir Salehin, General Secretary of BBSF Riyasat Karim Bhuiyan were present at the concluding ceremony, among others.
Publisher and Editor of Daily Sangbad Altamash Kabir sponsored the competition.
