Over the past 24 hours until Tuesday morning, 375 fresh cases of dengue were reported, bringing this year’s tally to 15,585.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) provided the tallies from different regions: 121 fresh cases in Barishal Division (except City Corporation), 33 in Chattogram Division (except City Corporation), 26 in Khulna Division (except City Corporation), 3 each in Mymensingh and Rangpur divisions (except City Corporation), 55 in Rajshahi Division, 67 in Dhaka Division (except City Corporation), 28 in Dhaka North City Corporation, and 39 in Dhaka South City Corporation, reports UNB.
No new deaths have been reported, and the total death toll for dengue continues to stand at 58.
1,210 patients suffering from dengue are now admitted in hospitals across the country. 575 individuals died due to dengue last year.
There were 101,214 cases of and 100,040 recoveries from dengue in the last year, according to DGHS.
