The members of 42 Battalion of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 34 Rohingyas from border point Jadimora area Nila unoin under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district on Monday morning and pushed back them at noon.
BGB source said, a mobile team of Ladea BOP conducted drive in the border area and arrested 34 Rohingyas along with 4 children, 16 male and 14 female, who came to Bangladesh crossing border by boat and were going to refugee camp.
Lt Col Abuzar Al Jahid, Commander of BGB 42 Battalion of Teknaf acknowledged the fact and said that arrested Rohingyas were pushed back at noon with humanitarian aid.
