Three motor cycle hijackers have been handed over to the police after mass-beating at Gafargaon in Mymensingh.
The incident happened at Pakati More of Barbaria Union under Gafargaon Upazila on Monday evening.After that police rescued a motor cycle 135 cc(Mymensingh-L-11-1042) from the hijackers.
Sources informed, on Monday evening Swapon Mea (35),son of Abdul Zabbar at Baira area under Katoali Thana,of Mymensingh,Babul Mea (50),son of late Asar Ali and Rawshon Ali(35), son of late Haris Ullah at Chakchatrapur area hijacked a 135CC Discover Motorcycle from Agriculture University area and came to sell it at Pakati Crossing under Barbaria Union of Gafargaon Upazila.After suspicion, the local mob detained them and beat up seriously.
Getting information, Gafargaon Thana Police went to the spot and arrested three hijackers.OC.(Investigation) of Gafargaon Thana Asabur Rahman said, the arrested hijackers have been sent to Mymensingh Court seeking seven days remand.
