Three persons including a mother and her one-year old daughter were killed in separate incidents in the city and district on Sunday night and Monday . Two of the deceased were identified as Kansu Tripura, 28, and her daughter Rani Tripur(1) , hailed from Hazarikhil village under Fatikchhari upazila of the district while the identity of another deceased could not be known immediately.
Police said Kansu fed her daughter Rani insecticides and she herself also took the poison following a quarrel with her husband over family feud around 9 pm Sunday night. On information police recovered the bodies and sent them to local hospital for autopsy. Meanwhile, an unidentified construction worker was electrocuted while working at an under-construction building in Moydar Mill area under city’s Bakalia thana around 12 noon on Monday.
