3 fake DB men held with arms in Gazipur
UNB, Gazipur :
Police arrested three fake Detective Branch (DB) men along with firearms from Khapara area in Tongi early Sunday.
The arrested were identified as Jewel, Iqbal and Biplab.Tongi Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ismail Hossain said tipped-off, they conducted a drive in the area at around 3am and arrested the trio when they were coming to the area on a microbus and a motorcycle.
However, their associates managed to flee the scene. Police also recovered the two rifles, two rounds of bullet, 12 mobile phone sets and two wireless handsets from their possession. A case was filed in this connection.
