2nd batch of BD Cricket squad reach Pakistan

Second batch of Bangladesh Cricket squad reached Pakistan on Monday. The members of second batch are: Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Jaker Ali Anik, Shamim Hossain and Mahedi Hasan.
Earlier, the first batch of Bangladesh Cricket squad arrived in Pakistan. The members of first batch are: Hasan Mahmud, Tanvir Islam, Parvez Hossain Emon, Tanzim Hasan Sakib. Besides, Manager of Bangladesh Cricket squad Shahriar Nafees and some coaching staff also went to Pakistan.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) did not force anyone to play in Pakistan. So, speedster Nahid Rana and some coaching staff withdrew them from the tour of Pakistan.

It is a bad news for the red-and-green outfit as left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out from the squad as he got injury when he took part in the match of Indian Premier League (IPL) Cricket between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings on Saturday last. Promising pacer Khaled Ahmed has got chance instead of him.

Earlier, Soumya Sarkar was ruled out due to injury. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is the replacement of him. Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Rishad Hossain are now Pakistan as they finished their Pakistan Super League (PSL) campaign.

Bangladesh will play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches against Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Bangladesh will take on Pakistan in the first T20I on May 28, Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the second T20I on May 30, the Tigers will meet Pakistan in the third T20I on June 1. All the matches will start at 9:00pm (Bangladesh Standard Time). Private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast all the matches live.
