Sunlife Insurance has announced a 0.5% cash dividend for its shareholders for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2023.
This declaration was made during the company’s 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on Monday via hybrid conferencing, with the physical meeting taking place at Eagle Hall, Raowa Convention Hall in Mohakhali, Dhaka.
The AGM was presided over by Wafi Shafique Menhaz Khan, Chairman of the company, and attended by the Board of Directors and shareholders, according to a media release.
In his address, the Chairman expressed gratitude to the shareholders for their unwavering support and cooperation.
He commended the efforts of the Sunlife Insurance team, acknowledging their dedication to maintaining exemplary customer service and business operations during challenging times faced by the company.
Mr. Khan conveyed optimism for the company’s future, highlighting the potential for growth under the guidance of the new management team that assumed leadership earlier this year.
He emphasized the company’s commitment to fostering innovation and delivering top-tier services to achieve financial stability and sustainable growth.
