UNB, Jhenidah :Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members arrested a man along with 24 gold bars weighing 2.4 kg in Maheshpur upazila headquarters here on Monday.The arrestee was identified as Sarwar Hossain,30. RAB-6 camp commander squadron leader Niaz Mohammad Faisal said acting on a secret information, they halted a human hauler and arrested Sarwar along with the gold bars worth Tk 1 crore. They seized the gold bars while those were being smuggled to India through the border.
