After taking proper treatment in Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, he has returned to his residence in Armanitola in the capital a few weeks ago.

On Eid day, he has sacrificed eight bulls and beef -packs were given to thousands of poor people at the char lands at Raj Rajeswar union (where his ancestral home is located) – a remote char and river eroded areas under Chandpur Sadar, 10 bulls for the poor people, residing around his old residence on Mukherji Ghat Road in Chandpur town and five bulls for the poor and rootless people in Torpurchondi, Anandabazar and Purondopur villages in Chandpur Sadar Upazila.
On Eid Day, on behalf of his elderly father, his son- Alhaj Manik Mia has arranged everything all day long regarding proper distribution of beef among the distressed and poor people.
