UNB, Dhaka :
Students affairs adviser of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Prof Sultan Uddin Bhuiyan and the provost of the university’s Ashraful Haq Hall Prof Rafiqul Islam have resigned.
Their resignations came Tuesday amidst allegations of negligence following the killing of Saad Ibn Momtaj, a final year student of the fisheries faculty of the university on April 1.
They handed the resignations to the university registrar Abdul Khaleque.
The registrar has confirmed the resignations.
