Two people were shot to death by miscreants at Rajibpur village in Sadar upazila early Friday. Assistant superintendent of police (Sadar circle) Nasim Mia said bulleted-riddled bodies of Syed Hossain Manik, 45, son of late Sekandar Mia, and Kamrul Islam, 40, son of Shamsul Karim of the village, were found in the area early in the morning. On information, police recovered the bodies from near the house of one Dr Yusuf around 8am. Police suspect the duo have been killed following internal feud over drug business, said Nasim.
