A Dhaka court placed two persons on a two-day remand each in a case filed in connection with threatening to kill meat trader Khalilur Rahman in Shahjahanpur area of the capital.
The two accused are- Nurul Haque and Emon.
Metropolitan Magistrate Zaki Al Farabi of Dhaka CMM Court passed the order on Monday.
According to the prosecution story on January 18 the two accused gave a death threat to Khalil, who drew people’s attention for selling beef at an affordable price at his shop in Shahjahanpur area.
On January 20, Khalil filed a GD with Shahjahanpur police station in connection with the incident.
