2 drug traders were arrested from Pashchimpara Harikhali village under Bggerhat Pourashabha at the night of Monday (in the early hours of Tuesday) along with 500 yaba pills by the police of Bagerhat Sadar Model PS. Md. Sayeedur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Bagerhat Model PS told, acting on secret information a police squad conducted a raid Harikhali village at the night and arrested the drug traders from there.
The arrested drug traders are Shaikh Farid (25), son of one Shaikh Mohiuddin hails from the village Dahagra in Kusthia district and Naushin Purabi Dala (30), daughter of one Salam Shaikh hails from the village Harikhali in Bagerhat Pourashava.
300 Yaba pills were recovered from the possession of Shaikh Farid and 200 Yaba pills were recovered from the possession of Dalia.
In this connection a case was lodged with the PS Bagerhat Sadar Model PS against the drug traders under Narcotic Act. They were sent to the court on Tuesday at noon.
