One is Ruhani Labonno, another is Yesmin Labonno. Ruhani Labonno is an architect and popular presenter. On the other hand, Yesmin Labonno is a dancer, singer and presenter.
Professionally, both of them started their journeys in the media by presenting the show on ATN Bangla in 2013.
At the end of 2013, the journey of Ruhani Labonno started with the presentation of the reality show programme titled ‘City Taroka Nirbachon’.
On the other hand, Yesmin Labonno’s journey of presenting in the media started with the presentation of another show in 2013 on ATN Bangla.
Recently, Ruhani Labonno presented Saudi Arabia’s ‘Riyadh Season 2024’. There were hundreds of thousands of people who enjoy the event. On this occasion, James performed music at Ruhani’s presentation.
This was Ruhani Labonno’s most attended show so far, according to her.
Currently, Ruhani Labonno’s presented shows ‘Friday Night,’ ‘Rupkothar Raat’ and ‘Sign On’ are being aired on SA TV and ‘Expert Chef Studio’ is being aired on RTV.
In the meantime, she presented the reality show ‘Young Star’ – Season 1, 2 and ‘Young Star USA’ arranged by RTV.
In addition to this, Ruhani presented two other big reality shows.
Ruhani Labonno and Yesmin Labonno both are dance artistes so they first met at Sohag’s dance academy, they said.
Since then they called each other ‘Mita’. Meanwhile, presented by Ruhani Labonno, Yesmin Labonno performed music on NTV’s ‘Swarnali Smriti’ and then Desh TV’s music related show titled ‘Priyajoner Gaan’.
Yesmin Labonno started working at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy as a dancer in 2015. Currently she is there as a senior dancer.
Yesmin Labonno came to sing on Maasranga TV in 2015 and has been presenting only on this TV channel since 2016. As she wants to focus more on the song, Yesmin Labonno was not interested in presenting on any other TV channel outside this TV channel.
Her first original song titled ‘Shonajadu’ was released in 2014. After that several more original songs were released.
Yesmin Labonno lent her voice for playback songs in Iftekhar Chowdhury’s movie ‘Agni’ and Shamimul Islam Shamim’s film ‘Aamar Prem Aamar Priya’.
The latest original song released by Yesmin Labonno was ‘China Hridoy Bhenge Jak’. His co-star was Yousuf. The song was written and composed by Ovi Moinuddin.
Regarding talking about Yesmin Labonno, Ruhani Labonno told this correspondent, “Yesmin Labonno is one of my favourite persons. At present, there is one in our media who can dance and sing at the same time. She is my ‘Mita’. Her singing voice is very sweet.
Even if the presentation is done on a TV channel, it is very fluent. She is also very good at dancing. Best wishes for her always.”
