Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal has permanently expelled two of its leaders for their alleged involvement in the broad daylight murder of a trader outside Sir Salimullah Medical College Mitford Hospital in Old Dhaka on Wednesday, July 9.
The expelled individuals are Rajjab Ali Pinto, former vice-secretary for climate change affairs of the Jubo Dal central committee, and Sabah Karim Lucky, joint convener of the organisation’s Dhaka South City unit.
The expulsion was announced in a press release issued on Friday night, July 11, signed by Jubo Dal president Abdul Monayem Munna and general secretary Nurul Islam Nayan.
In the statement, the BNP’s youth wing also urged authorities to pursue legal action against the expelled leaders.
