2 fraud gang members held in Satkhira

The joint forces have arrested two members of a fraud gang along with illegal fake dollars and fake money printing machines in Satkhira. They were arrested from the Katia area of Satkhira city on Friday.
The arrestees are — Mohammad Naeem Hossain (30), son of Abdur Rahim of West Batalakshmi village in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira, and Abu Russell (35), son of Rafiqul Islam of Katulia village in the same upazila.
At that time, the joint forces recovered various items including laptops, printers, punch machines, fake currencies of 10 countries from them.=
It is learnt that acting on a secret tip-off, the members of the joint force led by 37 Bir Senior Warrant Officer Alamgir of the Satkhira Sadar Army Camp conducted a raid on the house of Ashraful Islam in the Katia area of the city. During this time, two members of the ring printing fake dollars and fake money were arrested.
During this time, various types of goods including foreign counterfeit currency, counterfeit dollars and counterfeit money printing machines were recovered from there.
It is also learnt that the arrestees are being interrogated at the Satkhira army camp to collect more information in this regard.
The Satkhira Joint Forces have ascertained the matter to the journalists.
