2 Bagerhat men held with firearms

Some 2 persons were arrested along with home-made arms by a contingent of RAB -6 (Rapid Action Battalion-6) when they conducted a raid at the village Panchakaran within Panchakaran Union Parishad under Morrelganj UPazila in Bagerhat district at the night of Friday. The arrested persons are Md. Raju Sharif (30), son of one Majid Sharif of village Panchakaran and Md. Faruq Sharif (48), son of one late Hatem Ali Sharif of the same village. The RAB-6 contingent recovered one home-made (inactive) pipe gun, Chinese axes, Ram Daws (big home-made curded knives) etc. On the following day they were handed over to Morrelganj PS along with the recovered arms after lodging a case with the PS.
