1st ever ‘Made in Bangladesh Show’ in Brazil June 15-18

For showcasing Bangladeshi products ranging from ready-made garments to pharmaceuticals, leather, and textiles ‘Made in Bangladesh Exhibition’ will be held in Sao Paulo, , the most populous city in Brazil, on June 15 to 18.

The Brazil Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BBCCI) is organizing the event to promote exportable goods, diversify markets, strengthen bilateral trade, and facilitate networking in Latin America, specially Brazil, said BBCCI leaders at a press conference organized the BBCCI at Hotel Ascot Palace located in the Baridhara diplomatic area on yesterday.

Speaking at the press conference, Brazilian Ambassador to Bangladesh Paulo Fernando Dias Feres said that entrepreneurs of his country have expressed keen interest to investment more in Bangladesh.

“Brazil is interested in making new investments in Bangladesh,” he added.
He noted that “The ‘Made in Bangladesh Exhibition-2025’ is a significant step towards strengthening the ties between Brazil and Bangladesh.

This initiative provides a platform for businesses to showcase their excellence and forge meaningful partnerships. I am confident this event will further enhance mutual understanding and pave the way for greater economic cooperation.”

“Although there had been plans to import beef from Brazil to Bangladesh, it was not possible during the previous government due to bureaucratic complications and lack of certification,” he claimed.

BBCCI Vice President Md. Saiful Alam delivered the welcome address at the press conference while Secretary General Md Joynal Abdin presented the keynote there.

In his welcome address, Saiful Alam highlighted the chamber’s commitment to promote bilateral trade and investment.

He said, “The Expo aligns perfectly with BBCCI’s vision of fostering economic collaboration and opening new avenues for Bangladeshi entrepreneurs. This is a golden opportunity for our exporters to penetrate new markets and elevate their businesses to a global stage.
