Chittagong Bureau :
Police rounded up 17 alleged accused on different charges from Sitakunda, Lohagara and Satkania area of Chittagong on Wednesday .
In a night long drive, these persons were arrested. Sitakunda thana officer in-charge Rehena Akhter told that 14 were rounded from Sitakunda area who are involved in the recent anarchy and violence occurred on Dhaka Chittagong Highway in December last.
Lohagara thana police sources said two jamaat activisits were rounded from Kaluzan area of the Upazila.
On the other hand, Satkania officer in-charge sources said one Ziaur Rahman was arrested from Sonakania of the upazila who allegedly accused in recent violence in south Chittagong, sources said.
