Seventeen additional secretaries have been transferred, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday.
The order, issued in the public interest, is effective immediately.
The officials have been reassigned to various ministries and departments, including the Local Government Division, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Power Division, Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Public Administration, Public Security Division, Ministry of Industries, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Ministry of Housing and Public Works, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Information and Communication Technology Division, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Public Security Division. The officials have been directed to vacate their current posts and report to their new assignments by Monday.
