A total of 158,831 cases have been disposed of across the country through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) under the National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO). The cases were settled through the ADR system from 2009 to July 2025, according to information available on the organization’s website, reports BSS.
The service started initially at the district level in 2009 and was later extended to the Supreme Court and the Dhaka and Chattogram divisional headquarters, the sources said, adding that it was further extended to all prisons across the country.
