114 dengue patients hospitalised in 24hrs

A total of 114 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in the country during the past 24 hours till on Tuesday morning.

“During the period, 73 patients were hospitalised in Barishal division, three in Chattogram, 14 in Dhaka division, six in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), 12 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC), two in Khulna, one in Mymensingh and three were admitted to different hospitals in Rajshahi division,” said a press release issued by the Directorate General of HealthServices (DGHS).

The total number of cases rose to 4,700 while 23 deaths from the mosquito-borne disease were reported this year.
