A case was filed earlier in the day regarding the robbery at a house in the Beribadh area of Mohammadpur. The incident occurred early Saturday when a group of 15 to 20 people, dressed in army and RAB uniforms, stormed ‘Haji Vila,’ the residence of Abu Bakkar Siddik, around 3:30 AM.

Abu Bakkar Siddik recounted, “They held my hands and demanded I surrender any firearms. I told them that I had already deposited my weapons at the police station. They ransacked the house and looted Tk 85.50 lakh in cash, 70 tolas of gold, and several mobile phones.”

The authorities are continuing their investigation to identify any additional suspects involved in the robbery.
