The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has announced the transfer of 11 deputy commissioners (DCs) in a new reshuffle.
The decision was confirmed in an order signed by DMP Commissioner Md Mainul Hasan on Wednesday.
According to the order, Mohammad Osman Goni has been reassigned to the Logistics Division, while Mohammad Taherul Haque Chowdhury at the DMP Headquarters and Administration Division; Khandaker Md Shamim Hossain at the Detective Branch, Ramna Divisionand will also hold additional duties in the Detective Branch, Motijheel Division; Md Saleh Uddin at the Wari Division, Md Ziaul Ahsan Talukdar at the DMP Headquarters, Md Sarwar Jahan at the Ramna Division, Md Makhsudur Rahman at the Mirpur Division, Tahmina Takiya at the Estate Division.
Besides, Md Mizanur Rahman taking charge of the Detective Branch, Tejgaon Division and also handling extra responsibilities in the Mirpur Division, Md Nazrul Islam has been moved to the Prosecution Division; and Md Rezaul Karim will oversee the Detective Branch, Wari Division and the Lal Dighi Division.
