1 killed over land in Laxmipur
UNB, Laxmipur :
A man was beaten to death by his rivals over a land-related dispute at Sonapur in Roypur upazila of the district on Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Mannan, son of Ismail Hossain, a resident of Sonapur village.
Locals said Abdul Mannan went the garden of his house to collect coconuts.At that time, Jewel, son of Feroz Alam, obstructed Mannan from collecting coconuts from a tree which he claimed to be owned by him.
