Md. Rezaul Karim joined as Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of state owned Sonali Bank PLC. Prior to his joining, he severed as General Manager through a circular of Financial Institutions Division on 10 April and posted to Sonali Bank PLC.
Md Rezaul Karim started his banking carrier as Senior Officer of Sonali Bank in 1994. He held different positions in Sonali Bank with efficiently and successfully such as Branch Manager, different divisions at head office, head of Principal offices, Local Office and General Managers’ office. He was awarded of ‘Smart Banker & Clean Banker’ for his contribution in banking arena.
During his 30 years of experience, he had five publications in local and foreign journals. He also wrote three books on maintaining banking compliances in field level. He completed graduation and post graduation in Bangladesh Agricultural University. Later, he obtained MBA degree and professional CCNA degree, says a press release.
He participated in a notable number of national and international trainings, workshops, seminars including Thailand, Malaysia, India and Dubai. He was born in a Nobel family in Homan, Comilla. He had a son and a daughter.
