IFIC Bank PLC has announced the launch of IFIC EcoSolve, a nationwide essay competition aimed at raising awareness and identifying practical solutions for pressing environmental and infrastructural issues within local communities. Under the theme “Your Community, Your Responsibility,” this initiative is designed to encourage students to critically assess their surroundings and propose sustainable solutions.
The competition invites students from schools, colleges, madrasas, and universities across Bangladesh to explore three key environmental issues: water, sanitation, and sewerage. As urbanization and climate change continue to exacerbate challenges such as water scarcity, pollution, unsafe waste disposal, and inadequate sewerage systems, IFIC EcoSolve provides a platform for the younger generation to propose innovative, localized solutions, says a press release.
Participants are encouraged to identify specific environmental problems in their communities and suggest creative ways to address them. This approach not only raises awareness but also nurtures problem-solving skills among students.
